What Memories Brings(May 2017)

 

It is said that everything has a beginning and an end. Measured in time a human life doesn't last for very long. But what if you were created to last for centuries? What if you were sentient and able to sense and think while linked to the insides a statue created thousands of years ago? Through that time what would you see and what would you experience? How would you process all those things that happened around you? How would you cope with the solitude and ignorance the humankind brings to everything around them? How would you process their irrational ways of behaving and thinking? Could you witness all the bad things the humans did to each other and their surroundings while not going mad in the process? Would you also be able to see the goodness in their hearts and understand all the good these people could bring to this world? Would you survive the long road of time that stretched out before you or would your mind crack, crumble and perish long before your physical container ever did?

 

What memories brings tells the story of such a statue sensing and experiencing the world around it. Having been around humans for centuries this statue has worked on some of mankind’s deepest and oldest questions. Has it unlocked the answers to some of these questions and is it ready to share them with someone?

 

While the statue tells its story anyone that listens will know the truth about what memories brings.
